The company currently has 30 Mobile Operators as customers including TeliaSonera, Tele2, T-Mobile and Orange. The company is growing rapidly and during 2009 added 7 major new Operator customers, opened a sales office in South America and one in India and acquired a UK messaging business to complement the three other acquisitions made in 2008.
Mobispine is significantly expanding its product portfolio and intends to be a new force in mobile messaging by bringing innovation to this huge market. It is already the world leader in Desktop Messaging (convergent solutions across PC and mobile) and is expanding into online services, unified messaging and driving growth in multimedia messaging.
Mobispine provides Operators with messaging solutions both on a hosted Software-as-a-Service basis and through a software license model for on-site deployment. The corporate headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden with offices in a further 5 countries.
Position
We are looking for a Sales Manager who can identify, target and close new business opportunities as well as grow existing accounts. Our customers in the region already include TeliaSonera, Tele2, Telenor and Network Norway and there are excellent opportunities to grow these accounts as well as win other Operator contracts in the region.
The role is to grow business within Nordic countries but you will be encouraged to grow the role to the maximum which could include additional European countries in the future.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be in charge of the territory, our customers and the prospects in this region. As the Sales Manager for the region the responsibilities will be:
- To prospect in the assigned territory, find gaps, and create value for customers
- To present the Mobispine product portfolio to mobile operators and communicate value propositions
- To drive new business from a cold prospect into a closed deal
- To grow existing accounts through building up excellent relationships with the customer
- To develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities in a structured way; to develop account plans for key accounts
- To manage the delivery of professional responses to RFI/RFQs
- To develop business cases and negotiate commercial agreements with customers
- To handle opportunities from the moment you find them until the deal is closed and passed to our delivery organization
- To develop good working relationships with our strategic partners (such as Ericsson and Acision)
- To report to the CMO
- To be part of the global Mobispine sales team

Position
Mobispine is looking for experienced Java developers for its Development and Support Center in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Just like the name says, in Cluj we have both strong developers but also a Technical Support Center.
Our developers are constantly engaged in working in great and challenging projects for large Mobile Operators around the world.
We have an open and flexible management style where every idea is valued.
Our developers and Project Managers are often required to join Sales meetings in an English speaking environment to bring more value and answer direct technical questions for the customers.
We are looking to speak with professionals that have at least 3 years of experience and are familiar with:
- Java, (SE and EE)
- Databases (SQL and working with Oracle , MySQL)
- XML
- Testing methodologies, Junit
- Working with Linux
- Web servers: tomcat , glassfish or Jboss
- Spring and Hibernate
- UML and design patterns should not be a surprise
- SCRUM knowledge is a plus
